"I laughed, I cried, I screamed" - Suicide Bummer at Camden Fringe Festival 2023

On Sunday 13th August 2023, Suicide Bummer performed for a full house at the legendary Water Rats in King's Cross, London - a venue famed for its prestigious history including Bob Dylan's first UK gig in 1962.

The diverse audience included people of all ages and backgrounds, coming together for the biggest ever Camden Fringe Festival to date. Suicide Bummer got a huge reaction with one member of the audience later exclaiming, "If you're in Edinburgh next week you have to see this. I laughed, I cried, I screamed". The masked comedian is warming up for the show's debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival next week where he will perform as a camp terrorist on board an actual replica airplane, complete with "Suicide Bummer Airlines" cabin crew.

The Camden Fringe show was part of "Dad, Playboy and Me - Not Your Average Slideshow", a storytelling featuring rare Playboy Club photographs, anecdotes from the people who worked there, and the personal journey they inspired.

In a new promotional video for the upcoming Edinburgh Fringe show, members of the audience were asked "Who is Suicide Bummer?" - check out the video here on instagram.
